When moving your number from the Eir network to Irish VoIP and you wish to maintain your broadband service with Eir, we recommend you contact them in advance to let them know you are porting your number and wish to maintain your broadband service.
In some cases, the number and the broadband line are bundled and when you move your number it can close the account in full and disable the broadband service.
Eir can enable a broadband only service so that you maintain your broadband connection.
